Tim Bailey was born in 1964 in Tallahassee, Florida, but moved to Atlanta shortly thereafter.  He has been a lifelong resident of Atlanta, and has lived in Marietta since 1999.

Tim attended Wake Forest University and graduated with honors with a business degree in 1986.  After graduation Tim worked for a small savings and loan association for two years, and then attended the University of Georgia Law School, where he graduated with honors in 1992.

His legal career has focused primarily on the transactional side of business and personal matters.  The largest component of Tim’s practice is commercial real estate, and he represents every type client involved in real estate transactions: purchasers, sellers, lenders, brokers, title companies, developers, and builders.  He also practices corporate/business law, construction law, and landlord-tenant law in addition to other areas.  Tim enjoys assisting businesses and individuals with their day-to-day needs and resolving disputes when they arise.

Tim is an active member of the Cobb County Bar Association. He is also a member of the E-Filing Advisory Committee to the Georgia Superior Court Clerks Cooperative Authority. He served two terms on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Tim is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Marietta and an active volunteer with its youth program.
